Bradley is one of the best conditioned athletes in boxing. He has a lot left in the tank. There are plenty of PBC fighters that are nice paydays that he can beat. Broner and Berto immediately come to mind. Imagine a fight with Danny Garcia. That would be a damn good fight!Comment

I wouldn't pick lil Timmeh to beat Broner...or even Berto.Bradley is one of the best conditioned athletes in boxing. He has a lot left in the tank. Kovalev is the WBA/IBF/WBO light heavyweight champion; the WBA is still eyeing their final unification, the IBF mandatory defense is seemingly more than due, and Andre Ward (seeing the WBO throw their belt around Andre's waist) is the likely WBO mandatory defense at this point. If Gvozdyk has a good showing against Chilemba on HBO PPV on that undercard, that could get HBO interested in Gvozdyk, regardless of whether he's the mandatory or not.
If he wins that fight, and he has a high ranking to go along with wins over Chilemba, Karpency and Mohammadi that's a pretty good case for him to get an HBO fight with the winner of Kovalev/Ward sometime next year.
Beterbiev is due for his shot at the IBF belt, the winner of the Cleverly-Braehmer will have the mandated unification for the WBA, and there's no other belt that Main Events seems willing to pursue to avoid the mandatory (though I don't see that being a problem for RNS and Andre Ward).
Gvozdyk could end up being a fighter that HBO shows interest in (in anticipation of a possible Kovalev fight), but then you've got to continue on with fights that 1)keep Gvozdyk moving up the ratings, 2)keep Gvozdyk developing, and 3)keep Gvozdyk TV friendly.Comment

With Top Rank so starved for TV that Arum is taking a step that he's yet to do ever (digging into his own pocket to front the costs of trying to put on his own broadcasts), why would Haymon ever give Arum any TV?Arum and Haymon working together always had to be some kind of grand bargain which even if that is the only possible way it takes time to work out the details. Neither really wants to let the other get over at their expense but there are a lot of fights they can do that will work out, so some will have to benefit Arum (say Lomachenko-Mares or Crawford Broner)while some will benefit Haymon (Thurman-Bradley or Garcia-Pacquiao). Some are more 50/50 but they can do some really good stuff over the short to medium term. I don't think it can last but they can certainly benefit from working with each other.
Play it up as PBC versus Top Rank as a PBC series and do it solely on one network like Fox. Do some specials on Fox Sports that can play on both FS1/2 and their regional networks to get people into the fights.
No different than Don King, the moment he loss control of the heavyweight division, there wasn't a promoter in the country who tried to undergird King with anything (likely for concern that he could regain his footing, only to return to the same **** business practices that had folks opposing him to begin with).Comment

So, we're talking about money grabbing fights and not legacy fights? I guess that IS what boxing is about nowadays anyway.Bradley is one of the best conditioned athletes in boxing. Why give him time because it also has benefits to Haymon and improves his product while further weakening everyone else not willing to work with him. All boxing fans know these two sides have been at odds, so bringing it together in sort of a face off can be something to build up and on. It will lose it's appeal over time which is why it can't go on forever. With Top Rank so starved for TV that Arum is taking a step that he's yet to do ever (digging into his own pocket to front the costs of trying to put on his own broadcasts), why would Haymon ever give Arum any TV?

Haymon has a decent roster but Top Rank is a strong enough horse that it can add something of value. Arum would also have to share some of the costs which PBC is looking to limit and Arum for all his issues will put his money where his mouth is.
Still not an easy deal to make but it can be mutually beneficial if done properly which is really the only way it gets done.Comment
take it like a man. no excuses.
