If this is supposed to be biggest fight in boxing melody needs to pay ggg wat the fight is worth. To just say Nelo is being fair as its more than ggg has ever made doesn't make much sense.

It's the most anticipated fight so Nelo needs to act in a way that he acknowledges that fact and he understands that.

How much do you think it is worth. I think Marquez has overestimated the revenue from the fight. Alvarez has a good fan base, Golovkin does not have a paying fan base, and this fight is not that attractive to casuals and non-fight fans. The base purse has to be based on the revenue floor, which is likely 60 million (approx million buys). That makes the 10 million flat fee a decent offer. If the upside is based on buys over 1.25 or 1.5 million, I'm not seeing the offer as a we don't really want to fight you offer but more of a you're not going to make bank off of our work offer..

I'm not great at maths but can't ggg just get a third of what Nelo will get.?

Of course. I want to criticize boxing for thinking the fans are ******. Unfortunately, the hater culture of fans these days clouds their intelligence.

Oscar is anything, but a man of honor in this case. He shows too much greed, everybody knows people will be watching the fight not just because of Canelo, but the most because of GGG.
Without GGG on the ring Canelo will make way less, maybe GGG should offer him 11 mln flat?
Or maybe winner takes it all if Canelo is soooo sure he is the better boxer.
I am sure GGG will accept the latter one.

GGG has always been fair with his opponents in the money split.

Whats crazy is boxing is so racist, and so desperate for white stars, that means in order to find Kovalev, GGG, and other white hypejobs like Chocolatito and Crackquiao, they actually had to send promoters down into the caves to find them. That's how racist boxing is. They have so many talented black fighters already in gyms, already ready to be champs, but they just ignore them, and instead they send scouts and promoters repelling down the caves to the core of the earth to find these white fighters, so they can train them and make them into champions.

That's the real reason white champions always fold eventually. Even if they have natural power, you just don't get the preparation you need for the bright lights down in those caves, because it's really dark down there, so their eyes can never adjust to the bright lights. And the sparring is not good enough to prepare them down there either. Well, its true, the one exception is heavyweight. You will sometimes get good white heavyweights, but that's only because the sparring for white heavyweights in the caves is way better, because big foot is down there, and I have to admit, big foot will prepare you to fight anyone.

THat's also why you see way more good white fighters in MMA. Big foot is strong sparring for boxing because he's so strong, but he can't use his biggest asset, which is his big foot. But the white MMA fighters who get sparring in the caves? They actually have to learn to deal with the kicks and deal with Big Foot's actual ****ing foot, which basically prepares them for anything they could run up against in the cage on the surface. Plus, caves are like circles, they surround you, and the cage in MMA also surrounds you, so it's more of a natural element for white people.

Is Sergey Kovalev a hype job and a racist? Yes.
That's the realest **** I've ever read here! Keep spreading the truth.

Anyone who has followed either of these guys knows Marquez has been feuding and taking shots at Canelo for a half decade if not longer. He is the most bitter and jealous fighter I've ever seen. During his career he hated and resented both Barrera and Morales because he fought in their shadows while they got all the love and praise from Mexicans. And he hated Canelo since he was 19 or 20 because all the love and praise he was getting from Mexican fans. Rather then pass the torch to the young buck he has thrown dirt on his name at every turn in Canelo's career. Laughably said Cotto would destroy Canelo and even openly rooted for Cotto against Canelo looking ****** when Canelo won. You have to take everything Marquez says with a grain of salt because he has had an agenda against Canelo for years and it's long documented.

jealous that ginger makes a lot more money, is more popular in mexico than he ever was, and can star in his own PPVs, something JMM never could

the old man will take any opportunity to talk **** about ginger

the idiot used to say that Abner Mares was a way more talented fighter than Canelo and would go way far in the sport. go figure
I look at Marquez the same as I do Michael Jordan who for all his greatness is one of the most petty and insecure man in his sport. Even at the end of his career and when he was retired he refused to pass the torch to the next great NBA players. Every player who the media said is the next Jordan he resented and threw shade at. First it was Kobe who he for years showed no love to and then Lebron came up and he was even worse to him. Almost like he thinks if these players are great it some how hurts his legacy. Kobe patterned his entire game after him and rather take that as flattery and basically trashed him for copying him. It wasn't until Lebron passed a old Kobe by as the top player in the league that Jordan started to say semi nice things about Kobe. Lebron came into the league wearing number 23 because he was super jordan fan but Jordan took it as disrespect and a threat.

Canelo has said nothing but nice things to Marquez and if anything is very similar to Marquez in fighting style both using timing, counterpunching, setting traps ect. If anything Marquez should be a fan of Canelo but has hated and felt threatened by Canelo's mexican fanbase. Just like he was bitter about Morales and Barrera and just like he spent half his career chasing after the love and respect Manny got from boxing fans to the point that he was willing drink his own urine to get an edge and sold out by hiring the dirtest man in all sports and roiding to the teeth just to finally beat Manny. That chip on his shoulder made him do whatever to win but makes him look petty now that he is basically retired and hating on the next mexican superstar. To say Marquez has been butthurt over Canelo the last few years is putting it lightly. LMAO

didnt MJ said that kobe is the closest to him as in skill set, moves, etc?

MJ also said in a one on one he's not sure if he can beat kobe, and that it would be 50/50.

this is not enough for you?

what exactly do you want when you said "passing the torch"??? lol

When did he say that recently or after Kobe retired. Like I said he only started saying nice things about Kobe when he got old and Lebron had passed him by as the top player in the game. Early and in Kobe's prime Jordan was a notorious in the way he bad mouthed Kobe and gave backhanded compliments you must be too young to have lived through it. The way he treats Lebron today is how he treated Kobe 10-15 years ago. Jordan's resentment of Lebron and Kobe is well documented. Jordan shyt on Lebron even when he was trying to retire the number 23 in honor of Jordan. For years Jordan dismissed Kobe as just a cheap copy cat. There are many NBA greats, and greats in other sports that supported the next generation of stars aka passing the torch. And many like Marquez and Jordan who are salty and bitter and talk shyt about the next generation at every step.
