How much do you think the KO losses in the olympic affects his repuation?

I still think that he is a real bad ass. If you know his back story, youll know why. This dude got into the pros late after serving a bid in prison. His style and story resembles hopkins in a way.

How does he match up in the stacked ass division?

doesn't affect it much since he was fighting at jr middleweight in the amateurs.

he basically tried to do what pacquiao has achieved but failed. no shame.

Heard he retired after the olympics, i liked Ruenroengs fighting style, and i agree it resembles Hopkins style alot, serving time gives you that life exp, having to live under prison rules, ofc people like that gon use dirty tactics, thats what i loved about Ruenroeng, the dude pulled out like every dirty trick in the book
I think he was the best Flyweight after Estrada/Gonzalez, but loss to Casimero was unfortunate, but he didnt get caught by a good shot and never seemed to fully recover, So i think his reputation is kinda ruined a little by that, so if he really wanna repair his legacy id say he should rematch Casimero and if he could win that he could then have a showdown with Donnie Nietes then call it the day?
Then again hes already pretty famous in Thailand so maybe hes happy where hes @ right now

Jr. Middleweight?, are you saying he was fighting a 154?.
Get some rest dude, he was fighting a freaking 60 kg fighter, he wasn't undersized, he just couldn't re-hydrate himself like in the pro's, so he fought in his natural weight, he was there trying to bully the guy and showboating, seconds later he was getting his ass kicked by Oumiha.

I used to have a lot of respect for him, his story is great, about him using fighting to get out of jail and becoming world champion, he also kicked Shiming's ass, but i lost respect for him when he tried to get in Rio, he underestimated his opponent and got destroyed, but i don't think has much to do with Ruenrong and more with Oumiha being a good fighter.

The guy had his chance, he lost in beijing 8 years ago, fighters keep moving, let the olympics to the amateurs, the guy wanted to being paid but also get the medals of the fighters that aren't getting paid and actually train only for the medals.
