Former WBO super middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (45-5) will fight Martin Murray (33-4-1) on November 12 in Monte Carlo, writes the always well informed Bild am Sonntag in Germany, in what appears to be an eliminator for another shot at the title now held by Gilbert Ramirez.

I like Martin Murray.. good solid no bull**** puncher.
      He'll never be elite level..but he's a good gatekeeper for middle / Super-middle.

Probably Murray's last real chance of getting back into the mix as world title contenders after his loss to Groves. Probably the same for Abraham as well in a way.

Whoever loses, i can't see much of a way back to that level for them.

I thought Murray wanted to go back down to MW.. I guess he didn't feel Arthur's power last time so it's his way of not killing himself to make weight and not feel like he's overpowered.

He lost clearly the first time. I expect the 2nd one to go the same way.

I and MANY others disagree. Thought a case could be made for either man but in no way was it a clear loss. Think maybe you should give it a rewatch.

agreed, i had murray winning by 1-2 rounds.

AA literally did nothing for the first half of the fight, got rocked several times by feather fisted murray and in the 2nd half, only fought for the last minute of every round.

I don't think he clearly lost. It was very close. I think Murray could have won a lot easier with a bit higher work rate. He dropped his work rate too much and let Abraham into the fight which is the last thing you want to do in Germany. It wasn't even like Abraham was making him fight at his pace.

If Murray lost, which is fair to say he did, a lot of the fault is his own rather than Abraham's good work. If Murray had got the decision then nobody could complain either.

I think Murray knows he can beat Abraham if he works a bit harder.

Good fight again. Sosa/Smith is a decent fight, but kinda disappointing considering all the dudes at 130
