Yea I see some of what you're saying in play for sure, but I'm looking right at the caliber of opposition, cuz titles tell less about caliber of opposition these days than at any time since I've been watching boxing.

And that says that AJ is making a jump from fighting some lesser hyped prospects than himself to fighting the former decade long reigning champion of the division. That's a big f#cking leap in opposition.

For sure AJ would be best served by fighting a guy or two who've fought Klitschko recently than get thrown in with Klitschko considering who hes fought previous to Klitschko. Assuming he gets the fight of course.

Will believe it when I see it.How about Wlad goes to court ,Fury goes to rehab,Parker rematches Dimetrenko,Wilder goes to physio and AJ fights an overweight confidence shot David Price? Ain't that the way it normally goes?

        Stopped reading there.
Yeah, that somehow equates "99.9%." No news source, no tweets, no interviews, just "knowing AJ the way I do..."

It would be nice if they could top off the year in December with this fight. Wlad has been dying to get back in the ring so maybe he will take the fight sooner than later. If Wlad really cant pull the trigger anymore or inactivity catches up, I don't see how he would win. But AJ would be difficult for a younger version of Wlad too. AJ has a very bizarre trait that is shocking in todays heavyweights - He punches in combinations. Cant remember when the last heavyweight came along who could punch in combination. Personally, I think he is the best heavyweight in the world.
