I'm not the only one who mentions this. Just look at Kessler's head after the fight was stopped. Not from punches by and large... from butts. And I believe that's when Kessler ended up needing eye surgery as well.

yeah i do blame the refs, they are pro-ward, especially in oakland. Theres a reason he never fancied the froch fight in nottingham...

Kovalev will have to contend with EVERYTHING Ward brings into the ring

just like everyone else

he is going to face a lefty at times, it will get rough at times, and he will have to peel Ward's forehead off his chest, at times..... I suspect that Ward's forehead will be firmly planted under Kovalev's chin for large parts of that fight..... hopefully he will deal with it better than Kessler did
