  • Comments Thread For: Rigondeaux-Flores in November? Maybe on Kovalev-Ward?

As previously reported, the World Boxing Association's Championships Committee ordered WBA super bantamweight champion Guillermo 'El Chacal' Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KOs) to make a mandatory defense against WBA interim-super bantamweight champion Moises "Chucky" Flores (25-0, 17 KOs), from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

This is levels above the last crap that Rigo fought, no fault of Rigo. Hopefully Rigo can make some serious money on this and his next few fights cause he is probably the most underpaid fighter in the top 10 PFP.....which is not right if you think about how hard it is to get that high up on the boxing scale.

Hopefully Flores kicks his ass so Rigo goes away.

Does anyone even care about Rigondeaux anymore?

Always great to see a Rigo fight, although the casuals either complain or go to sleep when he's on a card. Flores brings more than any of Rigo's most recent challenges, but Guillermo should come out on top.
