Comments Thread For: Braehmer To Exercise Rematch Clause With Nathan Cleverly

NEUBRANDENBURG, Germany - There are already wheels turning for a second helping. Nathan Cleverly of Wales defeated Juergen Braehmer by technical knockout to take the German's WBA 'regular' light heavyweight belt on Saturday night. Cleverly becomes a two-time world champion.

What a war for the ages. I would be excited to see it again, but I think Cleverly has finally cracked Braehmer's granite elbow. After the onslaught that elbow went through I'm not sure it'll stand up to another 12 rounds.

Cleverley should make this fool wait for a rematch like Braehmer made him wait years to fight him.

So Cleverly was losing until Braehmer broke his elbow?
Works out for them, neither of them will want to face Ward/Kov winner

Lol, Cleverly talking about how he broke him down. It's pathetic. I hate guys like this. Charles Martin did the same thing when he "won" IBF vs. Glazkov. He kept talking about how it was his "power" that was the deciding factor, even though he didn't land anything remotely close when Glazkov tore his ACL.

Sorry Nathan, there's no respect for you. Try being a class act instead of a pompous prick next time.

OMG was cleverly lucky to win this one. He works hard but his skills set is atrocious. I remember a time pre-kovalov when cleverly was being talked up as someone who would become the greatest ever british boxer. Completely laughable now.

Excellent Fight! **** ENDING! Very happy for Cleverly though but I'm sure he wanted a more impressive win, still doesn't move his head though. I think Cleverly beats again though

Cleverly's dreaming if he thinks Braehmer will come to Wales for the rematch. Sauerland will find a way to make sure Braehmer gets his rematch in Germany, where he always fights. Sauerland's always willing to pay to make sure the odds are in their fighter's favor
