Boxing Greatness in the Middleweight Division

Now Golovkin still has a couple of ways to go before being mentioned with the greats like Robinson, Hagler and Monzon. What would Golovkin have to do in order to be mentioned with them, that doesn't require him to move up.

The term "Middleweight is a dead division" Is a false one because there are many talents that reside there. Saunders, Canelo, Jacobs, Eubank, and Lara would possibly moved up.

What does GGG need to do?

    MW is dead.

Cotto....at a time he couldn't buy a title at 147 and 154..was able to win a title at 160....that's dead.

    Wade was #1 contender...that's dead.

Jermain Taylor's washed up ass recently won another title...that's dead.

Shot to hell Rubio won a title at MW..that's dead.

    MW is dead.

middleweights a really good division, a lot better than given credit for. For me, GGG just has to keep taking care of business at 160, he doesnt need to moveup, just needs to keep on winning

Canelo Alvarez is the only multi-weight unified champion moving up there none of those other guys did nothing: not Jacobs not Eubank not Billy Joe not Le-puke....zero credentials.

MW is dead and you know it...

You don't GGG to challenge himself because you know he'll fail miserably.

"The true king of division" handed over the belt to GGG. That's one "he didnt even fight for".

Some of these guys do need to fight each other if they ain't gonna fight GGG, that's for sure. Billy Joe beat Andy Lee of course and Jacobs beat Quillin. These wins are both pretty much of a level with anything that the top contenders at 154 and 168 have done. Can you explain the qualitative difference to me besides the fact that you've seen the guys at 154 on your TV more often?

And what did Lemieux do to you? You calling him names cos Golovkin beat him? Doesn't that strike you as well... kinda childish?
