So GGG was sick for the Ouma fight and he looked bad, yet he was sick for the Rosado fight and looked like a terminator?

GGG is powerful but there are so many smoke and mirrors about this guy's career it's a joke.

Canelo has fought Larry Mosley, Cotto, Shane, Lara, Floyd and Trout. And for all this talk of GGG putting heat on sparring partners it's always behind closed doors. Hell I saw him spar against Shane and he couldn't set himself to punch. GGG is not the fighter he was in the amateurs, he's regressed quite a lot. El Zurdo beats him up at this point of their careers.

When i said he hasn't good power?, i said his power is overrated.
I can respect the skills of canelo and if you wanna talk about that skills, go ahead, but we are talking about power and it is overrated.
I don't know why are you bringing all the GGG stuff when i never said he faced good opposition, i said he has power, i never make excuses for the Ouma performance, you are bringing to me a lot of GGG fanbase excuses that i never posted.
Also, i never said that Canelo opposition isn't good, i said he hasn't knocked a top fighter, not that he never fought a top fighter.
Like i said earlier, we can discuss the whole Canelo topic, but we were talking about his power and you bring a lot of things that i never said or discussed.
I don't care about sparring, GGG/Canelo/Anyone, what peoples says about their sparring sessions, i don't care, i was talking about POWER, we can have a pm's discussion about their whole careers, but don't try to nullify my argument with the flaws on the arguments of other people.
I didn't bring the amateur career of GGG to talk about his skill, i only mentioned the fight that he knocked out Lucian Bute who has fought many top fighters and never had been knocked out like that in the pros.

      • On a scale of A-F, I'd say Canelo is a B or B+ puncher. Solid but overrated in that department. He's an excellent boxer though.

If you watch a guy like Kovalev who seems to have freak power he is very accurate, sometimes he doesn't even have his feet under him so his power can't be THAT high but he knows how to turn a chin.

          Lol. Freak power..please...

Foreman was freak power. That freak power on an effortless slow ass left jab that floored Cooney on the first knockdown or Moorer with that KO.

I say freak power because of the age Big George was in, not including his youth....

Lucian Bute was whipping GGG's ass before he got caught giving up his height and boxing skills. What's interesting is that Lucian Bute never fought like that in his pro career, not even against C-level fighters. In this fight Lucian just wanted to take out GGG. So that's a bad argument you're making. That's like Floyd trying to take out Corley and getting hurt. Just imagine him trying to take out Maidana, he'd be knocked out and Floyd's way tougher than Bute and Maidana ain't the puncher GGG is.

Now back to Canelo, I don't think Canelo's power is overrated. He's got good power and as far as I know he's not known for his power, at least I haven't heard anybody big up his power. If you come at him recklessly though you gonna get hurt, he might not take you out but he will hurt you.

As for GGG, I asked you what you thought about his power and you said while he hasn't fought anybody his power is great. True, you didn't make any of these excuses for GGG but having seen them here all the time, thought you might as well make them so I had to preemptively debunk them. GGG seems to have great power but he hasn't fought anybody and I used to think it was the other guys not willing to fight but I've opened my eyes now. I see what's happening. GGG is a diva...he'll drop down weight for Rosado but not for Canelo LOL.

              • Canelo has a solid punch.

He delivers his punches on a counter and uses an array of combos that he can deliver which amplifies the effectiveness. Also he has quick hands and good technic.

He is not a KO artist as some assume he is

Did you even read my post? I'm saying it's not really power. Foreman is the same as Kovalev. His perceived freak power is actually accuracy. He knocked out Moorer for example with a perfect casual shot on the button with barely any power on it. He often sacrificed form when he saw a window just like Kov. Sometimes this required reckless aggression other times it was a lazy cheapshot but he knew where to hit you.

People get knocked out via brain disorientation and an inability for their central systems to tell up from down or awake from asleep and basically blink out. Power isn't that important. You could take a 2,000 pound punch flat on the nose and it wouldn't knock you out it would just hurt like ****.

Canelo's punch in the gif didn't violently turn Cotto's chin much at all. He landed flush on an already tucked/turned jaw and Cotto moved with it. It's accuracy not power. I have noticed Canelo is not very accurate. The way he just kept punching through his combos when Mayweather had already moved 3 feet away was kind of indicative of that.

                    does not even wobble Cotto.

                      Stop it.

He can't even hold the middle of the ring.

He's an OK fighter all the way around.
