My problem with Pacquiao is not that he once used drugs, gambled, drank a lot, or was also a womanizer. Most of our favorite boxers are flawed individuals but we still enjoyed watching them fight. Manny takes it a step further when he uses his religion to condemn other "flawed" individuals. The man thinks ****sexuals are subhuman. Now he is agreeing with the killing of drug dealers without due process because his good friend thinks it's justified.

I remember him saying he'll pray for Mayweather at the time of their fight. He should turn some of those prayers on himself.

I think Manny's "presentation" as the good in a good v evil battle was exaggerated massively - purely because fans needed to buy into the narrative of a counter-balance to Floyd being a tool.

Manny was always a tool as well - people just desperately wanted him to be something he wasn't.

I've got no beef with religion itself - people use it as guidance to live a good life and that's awesome, whatever works.

I do have beef with scumbags who use religion as a way to present themselves as something they aren't - because they know people will lap it up.

This is a somewhat bigoted post, as if only black people could find a correlation between his power while he moved up in weight, and the decline of that power once he was accused of PEDs. 7 years is a long time without a KO, and the argument that Manny would never do drugs is officially out the window. Make an argument, don't generalize an entire race of people.

No disrespect to parker, but tua! Man I miss him, its a shame this country couldn't have been as interested in David tua during his career as they are parker. It might have made the difference in his career, it burns me to think of how well he could of done had things been a lil different. Not that he didn't do OK.
