I get it, some of you are YOUNG so your Ignorance is Bliss but stop making threads declaring some BS then you will spend hours trying to convince others that what YOU THINK are some type of facts and how everybody else should agree with you or else you're RACIST or Anti the Ethnicity Of Your Favorite Fighter
A fighter will come along eventually and make you forget Pacquiao, Mayweather and other recent great fighters, athletes will continue to EVOLVE so YES it will be another guy with Power who comes along and knock everybody that is put in front of him out and people will go crazy over him as well that how boxing always been

GGG is a great middleweight. Too soon to determine his status beyond being a middleweight great.

i think what the OP is saying is that GGG is a guy who can outbox many fighters yet he chooses to entertain. While he isn't a one in a life time generation type of fighter he is sure as hell one of a very select few who can capture the imagination of fans.
There are few other fighters around who are doing similar stuff Lomachenko for one, could box anyone's ears off but goes for the KO regardless, beautiful fighter to watch.

Gennady Golovkin is the greatest offensive juggernaut of all time. Period.
just LOL @ people not recognizing greatness.
he has the greatest power punch selection out of all the great punchers. he can KD you with a jab, uppercut, right straight, overhand right, right hook, left hook upstairs or to the body.
he has great footspeed and footwork.
he has a great chin. His KO ratio is the best in MW championship history.
His hit and don't get hit ratio has to be one of, if not the best in offensive fighters of the past. this is a huge piece of his greatness.

Thought it was obvious that i was saying theres not many who have both the skills and a really fan friendly style. Usually the most fan friendly fighters arent the top fighters, and despite what people on here say, most lists have GGG very high P4P wise.

HBO can make another GGG in a heartbeat. Now, he is highly skilled and he can punch, but you don't really know how good he is because he hasn't fought anyone of real merit.
He doesn't transcend the sport nor has he shown the ability to be a bankable star.
I get you like him but to put him in a calss of ATG's just isn't fair. Let him earn his spot, don't give it to him just because he looks different than most of the true once in a generation boxers.
we see these type of guys often in every generation
A good fighter who is overhyped(with good power) with a thin resume
before him it was Matthyssee, Paul Williams, Margarito and others
dude is no where near an all time great.....IMO he is at the Pavlik, Taylor, Benn, Eubank level....very good fighters...not great
