    New World Order..

of boxing! A truly exciting period is about to begin after a dry spell within the sport.. Some of these fight are happening & some are looking increasingly likely:

Lomachenko-Walters (A fight people have been calling for for nearly 2 years)
    Kovalev-Ward (For the #1 spot)
    Golovkin-Jacobs (Mandatory fight between the Number 1 & 2 MW's)
    Gonzalez-Cuadras II (Looks highly likely)
Klitschko-Joshua (Maybe the true changing of the guard with Fury's mental implosion & seeming lack of desire)
Denis Lebedev-Murat Gassiev (maybe the old guard of CW is on its way out here & both Usyk & Gassiev will be the force to beat from here on in)

I'd also like to see Crawford-Troyanovsky & Frampton-Selby to put some order at LW & FW & both could be made & are feasible. Very interesting times & a lot of this could put the p4p rankings in some genuine & well deserved order & will give a clearer picture as to what the post Klitschko, Hopkins, Pac, Floyd eras (i know most of those haven't officially retired but they are at the end) will look like.

Gonzalez-Inoue needs to get made too!!!

Nothing from PBC for the rest of this year. 200 fighters in their stable and they can't even come up with one or two meaningful headliners.

Hardly a new world order, with most of those fights featuring guys the wrong side of 30 but yes, it's a nice sequence of bouts to end 2016. If they come through that is.

In reality, Leb v Gassiev doesn't prove much, AJ v Wlad is not likely to happen this year and GGG/Jacobs is not a fight between 1 and 2 at middleweight.

Maybe after AJ/Klitscko Fury can storm the ring and say "you know who I am, but you don't know why I'm here." Then outta nowhere Wilder can show up and be like "so this is where the big boys play huh?"

Leo Santa Cruz exercised his right to a rematch sso I think we might get that before the end of 2016.

lomachenko, ggg and kovalev are taking over. All 3 of them are going to be going into 2017 with signature wins under their belts.

WIth Canelo out of the picture, the de facto number 2 is Suanders, who holds a legitimate world title and has a better overall time at middleweight. Plus in terms of skills and what the eye can see, he is miles ahead of Jacobs.

Well in terms of Ring its Jacobs. I have no problem with Saunders being your #2 though. He's a quality operator & in terms of resume they are about even:

                    -Quillin/Mora
                    -Lee/CEJ

Whichever way you cut it he's either #2 or #3 so its an important MW clash. Best puncher not called GGG or best boxer not called GGG. Either way is fine with me. At least Jacobs seems up for it.. BJS is fighting the usual WBO non entity next time out! Jacobs is close to making a deal with GGG! Saunders looks a clown right now too.. Didn't he call Golvkin out knowing he was mandated?
