Yeah, the second time I watched the fight I had Floyd winning. If you ignore Jim Lampley and Larry Merchant you can see it was a fight that could have gone either way. It wasn't a robbery at all. People who were in the arena had Floyd winning. And Floyd definitely did not lose 8 rounds, gtfoh

I had Floyd winning the first five 5 rounds and edging out two rounds in the second half. Castillo had 5 good rounds and ended the 12th round very strongly which is why many people thought he won. Fights are scored by round. Mayweather edged out more rounds while Castillo was more dominant in the rounds he won.

First 5 rounds? Yikes! For Floyd fans, the opponent has to win big in order to win a round even though it was Castillo who was the champ. Lets face it, Floyd didn't do enough in most of the rounds of the fight to give him the win and take away the belt from the champ, Castillo.

Compubox is not perfect but the numbers were so lob sided for Castillo. The thing is that Floyd's numbers show that the majority of his punches came from his jab in which Floyd said he couldn't throw and didn't have the power that he wanted since he had an injury.

So to say, Castillo throw the more effective punches no matter how you add them up. Replays concur.

Floyd does that in many fights. Throws a "touch" jab or a "touch" punch with little to nothing on it and Floyd fans think that because he threw punches, no matter how effective they were, its enough to win the rounds and the fight.
