Great post. Dempsey's power and conditioning was unreal. Stylistically he is a nightmare for Windmiller.

Also it'd be fair to say that I don't think Wilder has the temperament to literally die in the ring. Not knocking the guy, just that he seem's there is a line he wouldn't cross if it meant leaving his daughter fatherless

Sad indeed my friend. Wilder probably has the worst technique and form in HW history and has 0 defense. A true great like Dempsey or Marciano would have put him in a Coma.

Louis, Marciano, Dempsey etc would be rolling in their graves with embarrassment if they saw Windmiller fight today.

I mean, Wilder is entertaining, he's good for boxing, and he puts people out, so I will always watch his fights.

That said, you are right.

Before talking about the fight itself...Why are people saying Dempsey's conditioning can't survive these days?, man those fighters fought for 40 rounds, maybe there are a lot factors, but conditioning isn't one.
