Who was the best guy Julian Jackson one-punch KOd? I wasn't watching boxing back then, but from boxrec it looks doubtful that any were even Ishida caliber.

Julian Jackson leveled people with one punch in a way that few (outside of Mike Tyson and George Foreman) have.
This doesn't take away from GGG. He deserves a lot more credit than his haters give him. He's not a face first brawler like Gatti or Provodnikov. He has flashes of true offensive genius (that uppercut against Rubio) but he does not have one punch knock-outs like the Hawk.
once again jackson's punch is more like a whip. it whips the skull.
however those punches don't do as much damage to the body. it's more stinging.
which is why he has a lower KO %. he doesn't beat guys into submission nor does he have as much bodyshot KO's. his punches don't do accumulative damage to a person's core like GGG>
GGG's power is more complete because he can KO you with 1 shot. or he can go downstairs and break you in half.Last edited by HeadShots; 09-28-2016, 09:28 PM.

let's be honest, most of these corner stoppages and fighers quitting is right before they were about to go out cold.
GGG dominates these men to such an extent that they submit spiritually first. that is true power.
they see in no way shape or form they will win. they are doing everything they can to prevent the inevitable KO. that power is devastating.Last edited by HeadShots; 09-28-2016, 09:29 PM.

this guy went 12 rounds with Julian Jackson. 3-18 with 8 losses by KO.
Julian Jackson is featherfisted.

GGG is one of the P4P hardest punchers but man his punching power isnt even close to Jackson
I tell you what, watch a Jackson fight (dont look at the actual fight, just look @ Jackson when he lands his punches) and listen to the sound they make, the thudding noise that his punches make that echoes thru the entire arena every time he lands a shot
Sure you can hear the thudding noise from GGGs shots aswell but its not near the same volume
Jackson had insane snap on his punches and he barely had to extend his arm to make you go to sleep
Is GGG the better more complete fighter? Definetly
While Jackson had many flaws his punch technique just like GGGs was perfect and he put his whole body into the shots, thats what both Jackson and GGG does different from everybody else, they have picture perfect punch technique
Jackson said in an interview after he had been @ Big Bear training with GGG, i think it was like 2-3 years ago, what he loved about GGGs style was that he put his whole body in his punches and he felt he reminded him of himself in that regard (which i fully agree with)
As i said Jackson had his flaws but he was the ultimate KO machine and he was always in tremendous shape
But saying GGG punches harder then Jackson is one of the ******est statements ive ever read on this forum, if youre trolling i understand but if not then youre a mindless fanboy who defies logic and facts to favor your hero
I like GGG and i think hes the complete package but man his power isnt near Jacksons level
Julian Jackson couldn't KO a 3-18 bum with 8 stoppage losses.
http://boxrec.com/boxer/20168
couldn't KO an 18-35 bum with 11 stoppage losses.
just LMAO. not to mention all those losses in the prime of his career. once someone can take his head shot. he doesn't have another punch that can damage the opponents.
He has no body attack.
GGG's power arsenal > Jacksons. period.
he is simply not as complete.

Terry Norris and Herrol Graham were both solid fighters.
GGG is better than Julian Jackson, in my opinion. But that doesn't mean that Jackson wouldn't have been a quality opponent.
He lost to the GMan twice and earlier to McCaullum. Both were quality fighters. No shame in losing to either of these men.
And yeah, when past prime he lost a few more times

ya watching this lol
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJKlp8ZRchI
all Julian Jackson does is swing with his whole body into left and right hooks . he has no jab or body attack.
we know GGG can put men to sleep with a single punch like him. but
I just don't see this type of power in Julian Jackson. 3 ribs broken.

This is a very important discussion because some power you can recover from. like the fast flashy, explosive kind.. like Pascal vs Hopkins 1. or Pac vs Marquez 1. quillin vs Ndam. Quillin dropped NDam like 5 times in that fight and NDAM still finished stronger. the fast whipping power is more impressive but it does less damage.
There's no coming back after GGG puts his hands on you. You are drained every time he touches you.Last edited by HeadShots; 09-28-2016, 10:57 PM.

You seem emotional. let's get back to factual evidence. Show me a JJ KO like this where he broke the opponent's core with a single punch.
