    I wanted Mayorga to win

    LOL, truthfully, i wanted the underdog to win which was Mayorga.....oh well, i hope he gets a ****ing new trainer and some skills. All he needs is a bit more fundamentals in boxing and he will be unstoppable. Think about it, he has the toughest mental capacity in the sport and if he gains some real skill, defense, and what not he can bcome a GREAT fighter. He will have the complete package.

        So true. Mayorga really is an old dog. If he hasn't learned it by now, he will not learn it at the age of 33. Time has probably run out for Mayorga. The one thing he has going for him is that the power is the last thing to go.

          Thats true, i just wish he learned the fundamentals earlier....at least he gained some success when he defeatd forrest, but that was solely because of his power. It sucks for Mayorga because he has the fighters mentality, but not the actual skills.

              He did win because;
              1. DLH was on steriods
              2. DLH was using 6oz gloves
              3. DLH poisoned Mayorga
              4. DLH kicked Mayorga in the balls in round 1, Mayorga went down just couldnt tell from the camera angle.

                Fundamentals never would have done him any good. He brings a thug like quality to a fight. You don't know if he'll win or lose. That's all he ever was and ever was capable of being

                    He could have incorporated his thug style with boxing fundamentals. Sort of like Zab.....
