Why do some of these keyboard warriors care so much about what GGG & Canelo earn. It's like some of these keyboard warriors think there getting some financial benefit from there opinions. They are getting **** all! True fans should be more interested in getting the fight on. That's all that matters. A fight that we we all think will be amazing while it lasts.

The Khan PPV, at nearly $70, ended up doing nearly 600k PPV buys; if given an opponent with some name ID, Alvarez can do just fine business. Liam Smith, a fighter with literally almost zero name ID in the US, was still able to be an opponent that Alvarez was likely able to do $20m in PPV revenue with.

With the Golovkin-Lemieux number being what t was, can you point to a single other fight (beyond possibly the coming Daniel Jacobs fight) that K2 can stage for Golovkin that they could take to PPV, let alone do even $10m in PPV revenue with?

I'd argue that the Khan fight hit 600k because some foolishly expected that Canelo's next fight would be GGG. It was made public almost immediately after both fighters signed an agreement that they will fight eachother after 1 voluntary each. The fight ended and agreement broken. I believe had Canelo dropped the WBC title, and made it clear he wasn't going to fight GGG, the Khan fight would have done about 300k.

Can't blame GGG for wanting a fair split. If this fantasy fight becomes reality someday it will be huge payday for all involved. I hope it's happens sooner than later. I get GBPs reasoning for delaying the fight. Oscar doesn't want to take the chance of cashing in his cash cow just yet. Understandable but I just wish the Canelo team would stop all this posturing. Perhaps because they know ODLH wants to hold it back by using the finance as an easy excuse, Oscar knows the only other options of a bigger fight available is Pacquiao who can't make 154lbs then Floyd Mayweather who is retired and at third there is GGG who people clearly want to see him fight.

Offer a percentage get it over and done with this fight will gather a whole lot of attention it will easily be the biggest fight to be made in boxing right now.
