Kovalev's trainer JDJ has already confirmed in a video interview that it did happen ! It was the first day of camp for Sergey while GGG was deep in preparation for a fight when they sparred. GGG caught Kov with a body shot that dropped an out of shape Kovalev. Nothing major here it was just sparring, doesn't mean anything.

broner was cuttinga ton of weight and in his early 20's. he looked good for different reasons, the big one being the size of his opponents. [broner also had a very rouhg night and arguably lost to ponce.]

golovkin's been a MW since he was an amateur, and he's looked good for very different reasons.


broner moved up to fight guys his own size. his body could no longer cut the weight that he could cut in his early 20's. golvokin would be moving up to fight bigger men.
