It was just sparring people !!

Kovalev's trainer JDJ has already confirmed in a video interview that it did happen ! It was the first day of camp for Sergey while GGG was deep in preparation for a fight when they sparred. GGG caught Kov with a body shot that dropped an out of shape Kovalev. Nothing major here it was just sparring, doesn't mean anything.

i get this a lot, bc u and other generalize me...i've never seen jacobs as nothing...fact is i dont see GGG as nothing much...
ggg is old slow and really only technical when he is going for a huge shot..aslo becomes a bit of a head hunter..a pace pusher that is begging to wear out in the later rounds if the division has fighters that could actually do multiple things in the ring

jacobs is a puncher..nothing more nothing less..not a brilliant defensive specialist, nothing super swift or agile about him, at his best when he can seek and lead with huge shots, but chiny af...

lets just say the ggg hype is carrying this fight for me...jacobs been cherry picking more than danny garcia bru.

it will bee fun to to see who lands the first punch and see who if the next man can take it...thats all i'm willing to admit..if both can take it they'll both show sloppy defense and kick each others but all night and that will be fun, but i wont say p4p level

Who cares whether it happened or not. It was a sparring session for goodness sake. Sparring is part of training and not the real thing. That is when boxers hone their skills and experiment to find out what works and what doesn't work.

I don't generalize you because I don't know who you are.

Jacobs is a top 3 MW whether you like it or not, and GGG fighting him isn't a 'cherry pick'.

If you don't think much of Golovkin as a fighter that's fine. Just stop spewing bullshit.

I gave My Low Place possibility of a doubt, but reading mid post I realized he is clueless and has no place on boxing forum. So just ignore him and he will go away.

Yes, the Kovalev-Golovkin hype is building. It's obvious that the builders (journalists) are haters of GGG like Bernard Hopkins.

LMAO! Jacobs is the best in the MW division after GGG.

What Duva should have said is "Does GGG want the winner @ 175?"

I don't like Kov but he brings a certain flavour of machismo to the sport.
