It was an awesome night! Lots of energy in the building. Good fights. Everyone was pumped for the main event. And I went in expecting to see a slugfest between GGG and Lemieux, and I got to see the tactical technical side of Golovkin live and in person. It was beautiful.

Stiverne went tooth and nail with rossi and was being out boxed by freking ray austin.

Yea, personally I don't think GGG gets any credit for that W, that was legit. He was a huge favorite that nite I think he was -900 but Lemieux showed heart and tried his best. IMO, DW just does not have a W like that vs another champ. or former champ... Even fighting Haye or Briggs? would look better then some of the names he has beat. Hopefully he comes back at 100% and starts to dominate some more relevant fighters.

I give Lemieux all the credit in the world for stepping up like that in his first title defense. Yet, some of these guys will only say, "he got KOed by Rubio...", as if guys dont learn and mature. GGG jabbed the sh it out of DL that night, put on a clinic.

Now, Wilder, Id love to see him beat David Haye to pieces for the simple fact of what Haye is doing to Briggs. Haye told the man if he fought on Hayes undercard and won, then Haye would give Briggs a shot. Now, it seems like Haye wants no part of Briggs. It would be a pretty good scalp to add to Deontays resumé. Im ready to see Wilder face the best in the division

Do you understand that Fury was popped before the Klitschko fight??? and that that ' Win ' might be overturned should the court rule against him??? does fighting fair meaning anything to you Fury fans? does being a true champion : honoring your contracts and the belts meaning anything to you? I know you dont care -- but listen I gave you enough time...Im going to go ahead and chat with senior members on this board that have some knowledge of the sport....maybe I will give you another masterclass in the near future.

Yes that should have been booked already between Haye/Briggs, Briggs did what was asked of him and now Haye is MIA. They sell 2 crappy fights to the fans promising to fight each other and then Haye go's MIA what a joke, it's that kind of junk which turns off fans and media, there is no way this 'sport' can get any new fans , the fighters do not fight often enough and most are not willing to engage in compelling fights, it seems the powers that be do not realize inactivity is killing boxing for casuals or mainstream media.. for me its nostalgic I have followed since I was a little kid watching Ali on Wide World of Sports so I have never stopped but the politics is too much for most fans to even understand. I sometimes think they create more BS and drama then the fake wrestling business.
