You are crazy, when Iron Mike unified the titles there was less BS politics going on, Tyson was on a mission and he completed it in front of the world...DW is a paper champ not a world champion...DW is merely a titleist that's all he is nowhere near a 'world' champion. Your comment is laughable.

I was 12 in 1990, lol. Iron Mike was the man! I remember guys being mad buying his PPV, only to have the fight last 37 seconds or whatever. The short guy built like a tank that would destroy anything in that shared the ring with him. I also watched him get famous, hooking up with Don King and Robin Givens, and seeming like he became more of a movie star than a fighter. I've always wondered what would have been if he had stayed under the tutelage of Cus D'Amato and stayed focused on boxing. And who from that era can forget getting their ass kicked by Tyson in his video game...?

I dunno man, some people have an agenda on here to pretend they are smart, I tried to re read what he wrote, he must be drunk or something? Wilder has looked good here and there but I think he seemed relieved to not have to face Povetkin, the one fight IMO that would have somewhat legitimized whatever he is trying to accomplish. Hopefully in '17 he will face AJ or Wlad , or some young gun like a Parker or Miller that will atleast create some excitement, he just seems like someone who thinks a w over Arreola or Spilszka makes him a world champ? DW should have rematched Stiverne instead of one of the fights he booked against journeymen Kassi, Duhaupas, atleast Stiverne went 12?

Im a big Wilder fan, so you won't get any argument from me on that one. I was just confused because you go off on him about Dana White, saying there's not even a White on Tysons resume. It didn't make sense to me. And I agree, I can't stand a PED cheat

I agree. Im a Wilder fan and was looking forward to seeing him in there with Povetkin. Wilders resume, like GGGs, is lacking some of the names that would really show his talent. I was disappointed when the fight was called off, and happy when WBC announced Povetkin v Stiverne for the mandatory spot. Hopefully Wilder can show us all soon that he is the man at HW.

Frankly, like you said, I think Wilder seemed quick to pull the plug on that fight. Im not sure if it was Povetkin himself or the thought of fighting in Russia, but he didn't hesitate to cancel, not postpone, the fight.

Tyson is an enigma, the personality, the look and the style was really original. Don King ****ed him over but damn did he put on good fights.
