He is definitely the underdog in this fight.

Ward has a nice repertoire of weapons, and knows how to use them.

But Kovalev's equipped with higher caliber artillery and confidence at 175.

I see some bitter dudes crying about Ward in this tread. This mutherfucker done dominated one of boxing's deepest divisions when the so called 1&2 pfp fighters were cherrypicking ppv's.

I personally hate watch him fight, but i can't deny he is one if not the most skilled fighter in the world.

Kovalev's power is the only thing that makes me aware of making a pick, if Ward can't handle the power of Kovalev, he is gone, but if Kovalev can't hurt Ward, Ward will outbox him to death.

If Ward is -135, that means you have to risk $135 to win $100 on Ward. So if he lose you lose 135, if he win you keep your 135 and make 100. The flipside is if you like Kova you risk 100 to win 120, if Kova lose you lose your 100, if he win you keep your 100 and make 120. For boxing this line is about as close as it gets, last year if I remember correctly FMJR was -170 vs Pac.

This guy has the worst "victim's mentality" of any fighter I've ever seen. Grow up already you big baby

So then Ward is actually favored to win the fight?

NP, Just trying to help and have some conversation. Ward is a slight, slight, favorite. If you are a nfl fan, to compare..Dallas is -250 tonite vs Bears. So you gotta risk 250 to win 100 on Dallas [no spread, just outright win]...if you like Bears you risk 100 to win 220. After the may-pac fight last year I think it was Maliginaggi who said that -170 line was the safest way to make money ever, better then any mutual fund/stock tip.
