Where's the surprise in any of this? DeGale/Dirrell in Boston in the afternoon? Then DeGale/Medina & Jack/Bute in Washington DC??? And they wonder why their attendance & ratings are poor, no synergy in their marketing approach.

      EXACTLY!
I don't know If the fact DeGale is with Al Haymon has anything to do with the fact he doesn't fight in the UK much It's funny how people say you need to fight in the US to be on the main stage that has been proven to not be the case anymore.
I'm sure the Swedes would get fully behind Jack If he fought a little bit closer to home as well not exactly the type of guy you wan't to travel thousands of miles for lol.

I hope Jack smashes him. DeGale was very lucky against Medina.

How is this not for the Lineal as well? Incomparably the best fight at 168.
Inb4 Smith beats the winner and Golovkin beats Smith at 168

If you read the article pbc isnt mentioned at all. PBC has no money and is almost dead. When this match was being negotiated for in september it was going to air on showtime, and thats were it will air.

Showtime does have a boxing budget, although it clearly isnt based on the viewers that tune to it because ever since pbc, showtime barely airs boxing. Showtime is the place where haymon boxers go to fight when there isnt enough pbc budget, or the fighters want too much money and cant draw. Bute/jack, degale/bute, degale/medina all occured in showtime.

The only time jack or degale fought at pbc it was against the dirrell brothers because they are americans. Pbc wont air degale vs jack because they have no money, and if they did it wouldnt be used for two guys that arent americans and cant draw in the US.

Pbc is dead for all intent and purposes. Pbc is basically a patient that is brain dead, and is only alive because the family refuses to extubate him. They think a miracle can happen.

This fight isn't that great. Will probably be fairly boring.
