i think linares would beat him up for 12 rounds at this stage. i havent seen any of juan's recent fights or even really know who any of those guys are, but is he even a 12 round fighter anymore? linares is a big jump in class and diaz hasnt fought an elite level fighter since marquez.

actually, diaz vs crolla could be a pretty fun fight if juan still has something left fighting at the higher levels

I just want to see diaz get a good pay in a major fight..

Unlike comebacks of shane, margarito, lacy, etc.. Diaz has actually looked pretty good

I though the winner was going to fight Zlaticanin?

First, Linares fakes an injury to duck out a scheduled mandatory fight vs. Zlaticanin (http://www.boxingscene.com/jorge-lin...opardy--101218).

Then after getting "heathy", instead of rescheduling his mandatory, he signs to fight Crolla instead, and claims he will fight Zlaticanin next (http://www.boxingscene.com/wbc-croll...n-next--105676).

Now after winning the Crolla fight, he will fight a rematch, ducking Zlaticanin again. Shameful.

It seems everyone is of the opinion that there's no point in the rematch - got to agree with that. Linares should settle out his own wbc mandatory - which he will do very conmfortably!! It's obviously a SKY cash thing. Linares makes nothing fighting Zlatikanin. Although I just heard that Zlats is lined up to face Mikey Garcia. Garcia destroys him. Linares - Garcia, now that would be a worthwhile fight. Starting to feel sorry for Flannigan though, never hear his name in any fight of any significance. Hearn leaving that one till the end, Crolla's final cash out fight.
