He looked slow against Brook because Brook has welterweight speed. It's different from that of the bigger middleweights he is used to fighting.

I keep saying he was better technically as well as an amateur, but some of you call me crazy. He's become strictly a power puncher now. His stance is all square compared to what it used to be. He steps with his heels first toes second.

I am not surprised either b.c. Kazahstan boxing school is one of the best in the world, top 3 without a doubt.
You just described a shot fighter.

After over 350 amateur fights and over 30 as a pro...GGG is washed-up.

They say power is the last thing to go and reflexes first. That's exactly where Golovkin is right now.

His reflexes are shot to hell........and, he acts just like an old fighter does when he gets so much as tapped on the ribs.

Kell Brook made him look slower because we're used to seeing GGG against guys that aren't very fast.

His chin is pure granite, no one in his division can hurt him

so he doesn't really need to move and slip punches

he had to do it in the amateurs because of the short lenght of fights, how they're scored there, and the difficult of KOing people because of headgear

in the pros, he doesn't have to worry about getting tagged a little because he can always knock his opponent the **** out in the long span of 12 rounds

GGG doesn't need speed anymore, he can dominate without getting into second gear

              Delusional fanboy nonsense.

There is no such thing as a granite chin in the real world...especially in a dead division.

I remember when Antonio Margarito had a granite chin.
It got cracked soon as the comp got tough.

I remember when people marveled at the punches Librado Andrade was able to absorb.Look at him now.

Granite chins do exist, they dont last forever though

They deteriorate with time, and specially after hellacious beatings, like the ones Margo took from Mosley and Pac

No one has put a beating on GGG yet, he's never been floored, stunned or hurt.

That's why is iron chin is still iron, and he can get away with using his defensive skills sparsely

GGG is smart enough to adapt his style to a particular opponent. If he fought Canelo. he would not stand straight in front of him like Smith did. Smith didn't even attempt to show some angles and was a complete stationary target. GGG has a very good boxing IQ.

Almost 35 years old, which fighter at that age still didnt get slower.

Anyway, time is ticking for GGG. Jacobs might knock him out, if not then Saunders could box him silly or Canelo will just outclass him. GGG is ripe for the picking.

The other fighters just need to see through this and sign the contract.
