If HBO wouldn't pay out for Marquez, Gamboa, or Peterson, then good on them! Cotto should be targeting Lara or Andrade! If he was willing to fight Marquez @ 150, why not Danny Garcia, Keith Thurman, Timothy Bradley, or Shawn Porter @ 150?

I think Cotto is kind of stuck at point in his career. He's still talented but he's no longer that elite talent he once was.

He gets beat by most if not all the elite junior Middleweights in the division. Don't think he can make weight for welterweight.

So his team will more than likely have to do catch weight fights. Tim Bradley, Kell Brook, Amir Khan would be candidates in my opinion for this.

there are great fights @154 for cotto. he's to small for 160 and can't make 147. i hope he doesn't take canela's drain campaign and bring those guys down to 150. Lara,Andrade, and the brotha's Charlo.

Beat option is for him to fight Bradley at 154 and retire.

When did you start paying attention to his career? After the first Margarito fight?

I'd pay for any of those fights at 150...and I actually think Cotto wins them all.

I would too! I don't know what Roc Nation is doing? I have a hunch why things are going horrible for Cotto:

                      July 7, 2016:

David Itskowitch, who helped launch the boxing division of Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports almost two years ago, resigned as the company's chief operating officer on Thursday.

Itskowitch was the first person hired by the fledgling promoter when it got into the boxing business in August 2014. Under his watch, Roc Nation Sports has put on a handful of cards, signed two of boxing's biggest names in undefeated former super middleweight world champion Andre Ward and former four-division world titleholder Miguel Cotto, and promoted the second-biggest pay-per-view card of 2015, Cotto's middleweight world title loss to Canelo Alvarez in November. That fight, which Roc Nation Sports co-promoted with Golden Boy Promotions, generated about 900,000 buys. Only the record-breaking Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao spectacle did more business.

Itskowitch did not give a reason for his resignation but said the parting was amicable...

Roc Nation Sports plans to fill the COO position but probably not until after Ward's fight against Alexander Brand on Aug. 6.
