You can hate Paulie's boxing style because he doesn't have power to hurt a fly when he is in the ring but as far as boxing analysis goes, he is one of the best. He actually speaks the truth and knows the game inside and out. With this situation, he is dead on correct. Oscar knows what he is doing and you cannot be mad at him. However, Golovkin's team is correct to just collect all the belts and force everyone to see him when they move up to 160. The fight will happen next year because the fans will not allow it to wait past September of 2017.

Every single one? Everyone? Really? Do you have documentation?...or are you just theorizing? Just because you saw a few Pac fans become GGG fans, that doesn't make that blanket statement true. If you had said something like all Pac fans now root for GGG because most are Asian & GGG is half-Asian, I would believe you. S##t, that's probably the most true statement to make about former Pac fans. My statement about Pac fans being fans of offensive fighters is probably the best way to go about it. Otherwise, you display your bias.
And I actually thought Pac won that fight. But he just had no shot on winning on the cards in Vegas.Comment

it's actually all the non-demographics that hopped on the lil G, and Kovalev bandwagon. the non demos would be Canelo fans but since Mayweather is backing him up, they now hate him.
When paulie malignaggi favored Mayweather and was calling Pacquiao out on PEDS, the hated him. Now that he said Canelo is waiting on Lil G to get old, they love him.
these non-demos switch fans faster that a womans tampon. And they're only fans of boxers who have a slight chance of being a threat to the demographic boxers.Comment

Now that makes a lot more sense. Spoken like a reasonable man...lizard man or not. No, but I kid. Even though we recognize who Malignaggi works for as an analyst, we can all independently take those words with a grain of salt. If I was a fan of Canelo, I would be looking at that statement from another angle. I wouldn't poo-poo his words. I would recognize the truth in it, but further improve the knowledge of these casuals, these demographic boxers by letting them know that Canelo needs just a little more time to grow his body to 160. Sept 2017...fine...just don't be a liar this time.
Although I'm actually a fan of GGG, I can understand why they wanted to fight in September 2017 if it was laid out this way...if the approach to Canelo career was approached in this reasonable manner. But it wasn't. The bombasity...the ego...the inviting of GGG into the ring. It all became lies after Canelo vacated for a reason that had nothing to do with weight. Anybody defending that must be reasonable. Acknowledge the lies of Canelo...you can still root for him when he fights...but acknowledge that Canelo is more the definition of "hype job" when his promotion refuses to put in live bodies against him.Comment
