Capabilities, opposition is a close second, but since no one seems to face the best guys out there, i pick my favorite fighters by their style, talent, what they are capable of.

Fighting style and character.

I've never been a fan of runners, feather-fists and boring fighters that just go for the UD (Malignaggi). And I don't like boxers who rely on home advantage (home officials) and illegal tactics (Ward).

A man's character is important. I won't support a woman-beater (Braehmer) and obviously not a boxer who beat up girls to force them to ********** themselves (Adonis). Nor will I support a boxer who choked a Las Vegas ********** and beat up a much smaller ******ed man (Wilder).

First and foremost, I like "clean" fighters. Guys that don't clinch and grab. I like guys that come forward and aren't afraid to exchange. I can't stand guys that run around and try to win on points alone. Guys that, if the fight was on the street, people would say they won the fight. And I like guys that knock people out. There is no question who is the clear winner there. No debate about judges being paid or being crooked. I like "fighters".
