  • Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua Ready To Replace Tyson Fury, Fight Klitschko!

Anthony Joshua is ready and willing to take on Wladimir Klitschko later this year if Tyson Fury is stripped of his title belts, promoter Eddie Hearn has said. The heavyweight title rematch between Fury and Klitschko was cancelled for a second time on Friday night after the Briton was declared ''medically unfit to fight''.

    Dammit

If Wlad beats Joshua's ass, I don't think Wilder would want some of that

Idk man. Wlad didnt look as sharp against Fury even though it was ugly since both are mammoths. Joshua looks like the most complete heavyweigjt in some time. I think he could knock him out and make the fight even bigger.

I don't see what this gains Wlad? He was once lineal champ and with Fury out for the foreseeable future, they should have been working towards a new lineage, and Wilder is certainly ranked higher than AJ.

Then again Wlad v AJ is the bigger money fight.

For sure. This is the biggest money fight on the Global level. I ****ing love it! It makes a Wilder fight so much bigger especially if he beats the winner of Stiverne-Povetkin. We could have a massive Unification next summer/fall!

Wlad beating AJ does not make the Wilder fight any bigger. For something to be a big international event, you need both sides to be big names. AJ has gained some attention in the UK and Wlad is a big european name for near 10 years.

Wilder is an unknown outside his hometown, Wlad and AJ fighting doesn't change that. Wilder fighting Povetkin/Stiv won't change any of that.

Wlad is ripe for the taking.

              Joshua should sign up asap.

Joshua beating Wlad does. That will make him a mega star overseas. And if the Jaymon plays his cards and the media right he could market Wilder as the next big heavyweight kingpin. They just need to do more for him. Its actually kind of disappointing how relatively unknown Wilder is in America. He hits as hard as Tyson if not harder. ESPN amd other media putlets need to get on him!

Exactly. Wlad isnt washed up yet. This would be an amazing win for him.
