Wladimir showed fear and frustration in the ring last year.

His age is taking its toll in training, and he's feeling the effects of punches.

He doesn't like getting hit, and Joshua hits extremely hard. It's dangerous.

I never said I wouldn't like to watch wlad v aj. I said there is a better, more relevant fight in the division. That's wlad v wilder, for a belt wlad has never held and a foot between the next two best following furys implosion.

Fighting for a paper title against aj gains wlad nothing except a bigger pay check. In reverse, if he loses, he loses to a guy with zero world class wins. If he wins we all say oh well aj was just a prospect.

      Lose/lose

Wilder will get his chance. Broken hand is bad luck, but it should be completely healed by the end of this year.

Early 2017, give Wilder a title defense to test his hand. If the hand is good, Wilder vs. the Wlad-Joshua winner in summer of 2017.

Wilder won't go near Klitschko, he said before he lost "why should I fight him when I can wait for him to age". Says it all.

This is the best fight that can be made in the divisions now that Fluff Furry has been unable to motivate himself to train and indulged himself when he should have been training.

At this point, this one doesn't end good for Wlad. His only way for the redemption was Fury. Even if he beats Joshua (which I don't think he will) it won't erase the loss against Fury. Wlad indeed lost a lot that night in Germany. Still he is TOP10 ATG HW no doubt. If no Fury fight he should retire. Getting KOed by Joshua would put a huge negative mark on his whole remarkable career.

The heavyweight division has so much less to give these days.

Lets say AJ gets rid of parker due to JP's lack of a defense and even worse footwork than AJ..
Wilder gets through the first test of his hand once back, and Wlad just does whatever in the meantime by taking an interim title bout for the WBA/WBO

if Wlad fights wilder, or AJ, then sets up a unification with the vice versa ( subject to fury being stripped) then what ??? Another christ knows how long of one of them holding all belts, with noone of real serious contention ( maybe ortiz ) providing any kind of worthwhile fight for how many years ?

wlad looked like garbage against fury.........if the joshua fight happens i am calling it now.

you'll see wlad knocked out or ether stopped on his stool. joshua is too active and is very physical. wlad won't be able to hold him. you'll see wlads head getting snapped back in too many spots.

joshua is young but the guy is legit. actually i don't think wlad could beat wilder, fury, joshua or ortiz at this point.

No way Hearn and AJ take this fight, this is just hot air.

The only reason they fast tracked AJ into a title fight is because they couldn't lose - Charles Martin was literally the worst HW champ in history. A stiff breeze could have knocked him out.

Classic case of wanting to get PR points while knowing they won't have to back it up. This Fury drama is going to hold things up for a while.
