I dont know how can people think Lemeiux would be an easy fight for Canelo. Lemeiux is arguably the biggest 160 fighter out there and has a really good chance.
Besides, Oscar is never never gonna make Lemule vs Canelo lol.

Yeah, I agree. But it'll be hard to explain since Rosado just lost his last fight. He may have to fight someone like Brook, to setup the GGG fight.

Because Lemiuex is not a great boxer and comes forward in straight lines...Canelo being a technical counter puncher will have a field day lighting his ass up

Lemieux was saved by the bell against Jochim Alcine in the 4th round and stopped by Rubio.

Curtis Stevens was stopped by a guy that was 19-15 and took the fight on 0 days notice and didn't even train for the fight. Stevens was also dropped and almost stopped by the light punching N'dam. If I'm not mistaken, Jesse Brinkley had him out on his feet.

It just surprises me how much props these guys get for being former opponents for Golovkin.

Neither one of these guys are that high on my list, but if I'd have to pick, I'd probably go with Pepe La Pew in a decision

Stevens was Canelo's chief sparring partner for Cotto

Yes. Brook would be an excellent choice for Canelo. The only issue would be waiting for Brook's eye socket to heal before he gets back in the ring. But I agree that would be a challenging and good preparatory fight for Canelo prior to his imaginary fight with Golovkin. Ordinarily I would think that Lemieux might be a good choice but Rubio beat him so.....I think Canelo could handle him as well.
