wobbled him in the 1st round, dropped him later although ref didn't score it a knockdown, fractured his eye socket. beat him so badly the trainer threw the towel in before end of the 5th round. against a 36-0 fighter who outweighed him. yeah what a horrible performance

He knew he could hurt Brook and couldn't get hurt so much. Golovkin simply walked down Brook. Legit strategy. He even said he wanted street fight before.
He knows how to box, he simply choose not to.

to be a fair it was a one those weird things in boxing for him to hurt his eye socket with the first punch thats why they stopped the fight and why he had so much success after the injury.

even abel said it was a very bad performance i dont know why u guys get so upset by this notion.

I just think at 34 yrs old and over 300 amateur fights , Father Time is starting to show on GGG. To me he looked slow and reckless but was winning the fight and did damage to Brook. That being said the faster, tougher Canelo will beat him even though I think Canelo was ducking him for a while .

It's incredible the expectations placed on GGG. Brook was a huge WW, 36-0 record and possibly no.1 WW in world. GGG staggers him in rd 1, breaks his face in rd 2, puts him down in rd 3 and by 5 the guy is taking a battering and the towel is thrown in - "Golovkin looked HORRIBLE." You can't win pretty all the tim, FFS. That was a straight forward demolition and when you look back on this in the future, the history books will just show it for what it was....... another very easy V. No more, no less.

If that's what he does when he is "horrible" I would not wish anyone to be in the ring with him at his best.
