Looking at this situation is difficult because we don't know specific contract terms.

Gomez wants this to be a fucking 12 month promotion while GGG wants to get in fights any chance he can get.

Obviously the problem is the split. GGG deserves a 70/30 split.

And when they bring up the PPV bomb of GGG-Lemiuex thats fine but looking at the amount of people talking about this fight in the sport and outside of it. It's pretty clear that the PPV will do 1 mil+. Right now Canelo is tanking in the PPV buy market. He keeps making less and less, and the fact that Monroe might be his next opponent isn't helping AT ALL.

hope people are prepared to be disappointed. canelo has no intention of fighting GGG. These aren't serious negotiations, one hurdle will be in front of another in order to make sure the fight doesn't happen. if ggg agrees to 80:20 split, they will then say oh wait its got to be 90/10. Then they will say its got to be at 157. Canelo is scared of the boogeyman, he can write off one loss to Mayweather as him being young etc. What happens to his so called 'star power' once GGG demolishes him. ANd trust me that's exactly what happens, if you cant dodge GGG's punches you are in trouble, and canelo couldn't dodge a ****ing lorry, defense is dog**** and you would think he had concrete in his boots with his slow plodding footwork

I'm just being honest, canelo had chance to fight him and he gave his belt up, bwhat more proof do i need that he wont fight.why would I not want the fight to happen, I will admit I'm not mega hyped for the fight cause it's not hugely competitive, but It's a good match up. Come on man, canelos defence sucks, don't try and make out its underrated lol
