  • Jacobs Can Beat Golovkin If

He fights Golovkin how he fought Quillin patient looking to land big shots, if he can land as much as Brook its over, that being said he has chin problems and if Golovkin lands its all over

there is no doubt jacobs has a chance to win this fight. will he? probably not but thats why jacobs is where hes at in the first place winning fights he wasnt supposed to win. it sure is going to be interesting to find out tho and i for one am excited about it. hopefully canelo can lock up a fight with saunders

I think he needs to work quickly. Jacobs doesn't have the kind of footwork or durability to avoid him the whole fight. Golovkin WILL catch up with him, given enough time. Jacobs is able to be very powerful, quick, and accurate. But, he's gotta be fresh to do that. Golovkin is hit-able and doesn't have to be broken down first. I think Danny should get a feeler in the first, and look to execute in the 2nd or 3rd. His chances aren't great, but he's definitely capable of the upset.

Jacobs has no chance and you'll all say he's a bum after ggg knocks him out early

i dont think people will call him a bum i mean at end day hes probably the toughest opponent at 160 it my case people to say what else is there to do at 160 but not that jacobs is a bum. i think people will want to see ggg move to 168 for a challenge if he dismantles jacobs but thats expected for any fighter whose fought at same weight this long

I won't call him a bum, he beat Peter Quillin, but he is a fighter who was ko'ed before and was dropped by a fighter with a KO% less than 25%

Yeah and that's what they will say, a power puncher beat someone with a glass jaw. They completely discredited lemiuex after he beat him and it will happen again, pretty similar situation

Lemieux hasn't beat a Quillin type opponent tho

The best opportunity for Jacobs is definitely the opening rounds. This is when he will be at his best as a fast paced fighter and Golovkin pretty much always spends the first couple of rounds slowly warming up and feeling out his opponent.

True, detractors were mocking Lemieux for losing to the likes of Rubio. These insecure fans are not only doing revisionist history, they're working on preemptive revisionist history. Never seen anything like it...
