Facts, but why are we not giving GGG props for facing the #1 guy in the division while we call him a can fighter who isn't challenging himself.

Reason is people don't think much of Jacobs. But he is much more dangerous then Canelo. He is a big MW with big power. Re watch some of his last few fights and you cant stand there with him or go to the ropes. Hes hurt everyone he fought who didn't move out the way almost immediately as soon as he landed. Which is why i find it funny that some think Canelo beats him with ease, when the biggest threat Canelo fought was Lara who's power is nothing compared to Jacobs and Jacobs himself is a big MW. He has more one punch KO power then GGG.

No question, big strong middleweight who can deliver his punches with speed and bad intentions, If GGG attempts the big drama show walkdown he will get put on his backside. Jacobs is a bigger stronger Brook, but his chin is a question mark. This fight will be fun while it lasts.

This is a proper mw fight. Jacobs dismantled Quillin in 1rd and he's a 160 lbs fighter with legit skills, power and size. I really hope the negotiations go smooth and the fight gets made.

I agree that he has power and he is more dangerous than he gets credit for.

However, I don't think these guys like being pushed back and forced to fight moving backwards. I thought Stevens and Lemieux could out some serious damage on GGG but when they don't feel their power is enough to back the other guy up, they don't become effective.

I like the Jacobs fight right now more than any fight GGG can get for Dec.
