I like Wilder. I like Crawford. I like Thurman and Porter. I like Jacobs. My point with that statement is that once Ward fights Kovalev, he will have had as many fights in 2016 as he has had in the 4 years prior. That's not much activity there.

        its 2016 not 2014...
Its not 2011 either which is the time frame most of you guys reference when talking about Ward's great resume. 3 fights in 2016. 3 fights in 4 years prior.

He could not carry Roy Jones, jock strap on his best day

roy would be 2-10 steps ahead the entire fight.

With all due respect, since this is all hypothetical-fairy-tale talk anyway, you saying that RJJ would beat Kovalev no different then me saying Kovalev would win.

Prime RJJ is one of my favorite fighters ever. Kovalev would stop him, no doubt.

All you need to see is him getting tagged up by a 40 yr old cabbie from 168 to know that Kovalev will tax that ass.

Call me crazy but I think Kovalev MIGHT have been able to give Roy a decent fight at 175 but he would still lose decisively, not sure it would be "easy". At 175 Roy wasn't quite the beast he was at 160-168, he was a little more vulnerable.

Of course the outcome of the Ward fight will give a little more perspective.

His phone/PC probably autocorrects every word he types to GGG since that's all he talks about
