You're exactly right. They get very insecure about British boxing being in a good way. America isn't the boxing superpower it was, in fact most their fighters are boring and Irrelevant now.

I have nothing against America, history of some unbelievable fighters, lots of my favourites, Tyson, toney etc.but it's being over taken in boxing and there genuinely isn't much Interest in your fighters over here and other countries as they don't test themselves that often and are boring .eastern Europe is going to gradually take over boxing

An aging population will never take over anything except retirement homes..

It's always somebody will take over boxing.... the mexicans....then the Ricans...then the Pionys...now the Eastern Europeans.

              It's never going to happen.

I bet you're not even eastern european.

You have different time zones so the fights happen at weird times during days and nights, we don't have a network like BoxNation that shows fights from all over the world and the major players on the US scene: HBO, Showtime and PBC are all in the midst of a budget crunch and won't pay for fights.

I'm a big fan of Anselmo Moreno but I can only watch replays of his fights or have to watch it on a crappy stream with a ton of ads and *******.
It's actually easier to watch fights in Europe because they happen at 5 or 6 in North America than fights in America which take place at 11 or 12 at night.

As it is his fans would attempt to convince you Lemieux was a career defining fight, not me I will convince you the way in which he dealt with Geale was a career defining moment, upon that moment I realised he is a wasted talent at this weight. And before the fücktards crow Geale was handled by Cotto the dude made a weight he hadn't made in 8 years and look like a ***ish **** death camp resident on the scales, yet these GGG fans want Ward to do the same. Anyone with that mentality is scum, the Cotto and GGG fan base making demands like the need their heads crushing in a vice show me where the crank is.

Jumping to 168 & cleaning out a meh division wouldn't put him on top of the pedestal but it will elevate his resume for sure.. Jacobs in Dec, Billy in March & then off to 168, no looking back - ideally but lets hope he moves up next year to fight the bigger guys..
A loss certainly does not detract from a career possibly blemishes it but you're splitting hairs if you feel a world class fighter with a loss in a competitive fight deserves no kudos for in fact having taken the fight this is exactly why Ward and Krsuher have more respect than GGG ever will.

The more I read that successful business men are determined to stage Canelo vs GGG my heart sinks lower that he won't ever move up. It really is detrimental to boxing on a whole he continues this saga at 160 I mean after Wade and Lemieux who are next ? Heiland and Tureano ? Please !

I don't have a problem waking up early or staying up late to catch a foreign fight card. Yamanaka-Moreno II and Hasegawa-Ruiz was worth it.
Its not much of an effort to find and plan. You have the Internet? That's all you need.

I'm not, I'm from the UK, so it's objective when I say that. Loma, kov, usyk, ggg are going to be running the sport, two of them do already.
