The old adage weights slow you down is dumb .Weights make fast twitch fibers which produce more explosive power if its lean muscle the body has the ability to react quicker as long as you are also training it to do fast movements to compliment it . The only thing an overly muscular body needs to adjust is the cardio training if they increase their physical weight to adjust to carrying a heavier load . Weight training does not mean one has to put on size either . Over 7 decades later of ppl laughing at the notionand now they /trainers are coming to grips with this........

Then old coke head Barry fleeced him of most of his money and tua ended up living in a caravan.

Sad story I see Joe going the same way, his natural skill is actually being stifled.

No Jones wasn't a boxing expert but he had a good business mind and genuinely wanted the best for Joe, he didn't need to make a buck from him it was a passion project.

Duco know when Joe goes all they have left is the charity boxing events so they want that big payday fast
I agree pretty much and Joe has a lot to learn but he seems to have the personality to rise again if Joshua (or David Price even) smashes him and hes gaining high level experience and earning enough to train full time, unless they get a better trainer than Barry I cant see the advantage of the quiet slow route. They can have a few easy rebuilders if he loses.
I dont think hes slower, he was later in the Takam fight but that was just because he was getting hit back for once

I hope this doesn't negatively affect his handspeed or his mobility.

Duco should introduce someone else to show him a few things, Barry can stay on, Freddie Roach would be great imo but he couldnt do pad work with a heavyweight
Roach has Trey Morrison a 220 /225 pounder who hits harder than Parker!

Good luck to him though, he has some talent, I hope he has a better chin than his dad!
