american's just don't wanna buy little g fights. meanwhile canelo can do 300k with absolute nobody's. little g better bend over and accept that 10 mil or he's gonna be **** out of luck.
He's not saying hes the A side. Not delusional like " the best fighter in the world" Canelo. He might become a side when this lineal paper champ sacks up to get beat down. You think his body will be ready in a year?

****ing hell, $60 for Canelo-Smith? That's outrageous. I was pissed enough having to pay £15 for GGG-Brook.

The flat fee just went out of the window. Now grew some balls Canelo and step up to the Kazakh Emperor!!! 50:50 is generous. Take it or leave it!!!
Canelo vs Smith did 3.4 million PPV buys in Mexico

          Boom there goes your argument

Canelo isn't a star at all, he could walk down the street here and no one would know who he was. Only thing he is known for in UK is being one of may weather's easiest fights

Oh suddenly the cost matters? No idea what the cost was.

But here's the article. Those of you who read Spanish can confirm.

                http://espndeportes.espn.com/boxeo/nota/_/id/2797508/tuvo-canelo-audiencia-de-18-millones-en-mexico

"La pelea entre Canelo y Smith, que terminó con un nocaut en nueve asaltos por parte de Álvarez, fue transmitida en suelo mexicano en Canal Space a través de la señal de televisión de paga"

"La pelea entre Canelo y Smith, que terminó con un nocaut en nueve asaltos por parte de Álvarez, fue transmitida en suelo mexicano en Canal Space, a través de la señal de televisión de paga, mientras que en televisión gratuita fue Azteca 7 el canal que transmitió el pleito"

It says it was free on TV azteca. You can't tell me how much this extra Ppv cost? Doesn't sound meaningful. But big picture you're right. The Ggg fight will be a huge windfall for him in Mexico win or lose, but especially if he wins

It also says 3.4 million PPV on "Chanel Space"

why do you say 97k when ESPN, Sky Sports, USA Today and basically all official outlets say 150k and one dude on twitter who is routinely wrong (canelo v cotto numbers, floyd v berto numbers etc) says 97k?
