After a destructive performance against 36-0 ring magazine number 1 welterweight Kell Brook, ggg showed no signs of slowing down. Although he is aging, he fights frequently. With a reputation for taking on all comers at 160, and his eagerness for entertaining the fans and taking punches that he doesn't need to, how will this effect his longevity? Can golovkin be the fighter that hits the 50-0 mark?

Will ggg retire 50-0?

Good questions. Taking punishment doesn't help any boxer...some boxers tend to go the defensive route when things start to get extreme moving up in weights... If takes heavy shots from Jacobs, let's see from there on. Even guarding up and taking hard blows still moves the brain around and knocks cells here and there.
The question, there are still many bouts until 50. The situation and pressure on his career isn't getting easier. Going North is inevitably a bigger challenge with context of 50-0. Surely the BWAA would ideally want Golovkin to win titles north so that they can write about it.
If Golovkin is like Bhop...then I guess there's nothing to worry about. Defending and trying to "beat" the Executioner's record seems more of the goal then worrying about 50-0.

I would highly, highly, highly doubt it. Like, 0.0001% chance.
He's 36-0 at age 34. He should have 2 more fights before his 35th birthday, which would make him 38-0. If he continues to fight 3 times a year (highly unlikely), it will take him until age 39 to be 50-0. The more likely scenario is that he fights twice a year due to waiting for Canelo in 2017, and afterwards he'll be too old to fight 3-4x a year. So that means it will take him to age 41 to be 50-0.
All of this also assumes that he never loses, which is also highly unlikely. I think after he's done with Canelo and MW, he'll move up, and will win some and lose some.
I expect his career to finish with something like a 45-2 or 45-3 record.

if he keeps fighting the lower level opponent then yes he will be. If he ever gets to fight Canelo and then goes up to 168 and fights real opposition then I don't know.
