Maybe they're gonna try to get away as much as possible during football season. That is what it looks like. Most of the big PBC Cards happened between March and September of this year.

Showtime just announced it's going dark in October as well.....Haymon killed boxing in the US. Hopefully all the divas get out of the sport with him....plenty of great affordable fights out there. No need to overpay for divas that don't generate interest/money.

If you're gonna be a effin diva, you best put butts in seats.

They only have two dates left with NBC...they would take them whenever they can get them. The disturbing part is the lack of activity. Look at guys like Lee Selby and Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia. They aren't capitalizing on any of their momentum. Especially Thurman, Garcia and Jacobs. Jacobs sitting out 10 months after ko'ing Quilling was inexplicable.

The main problem is Showtime doesn't have enough dates to handle all of his roster. Sure some guys are prospects and can stay on fs1 and espn which are all low budget shows, but some of them will graduate to showtime and have no room.

These could be major issues. These fighters will start to grumble. Even young guys like Julian Williams can't get a 2nd fight in (although part of that is Charlo's fault).

A lot of people called this happening. However it really sucks. It was a good idea. Just poor execution. This could drastically alter boxing as we know it.

They have dates they just don't want to go up against college football. If you're gonna do that fine, but have a fight on every Saturday or at least twice a week until Football starts.

And then have the smaller cards on during football season and a big card here or there.

If not, just go up against football. How does UFC/Bellator handle their fall schedule? Big fights up agaist football or naw?

Of course, that was not an issue last fall, when the money was flowing and there were several PBC cards.

Yep. College football was never a concern for years.

A few years back this stretch was the busiest in boxing

They shouldn't have anything lined up yet. Paulie is supposed to fight in Europe and Moises Flores is supposed to fight Rigo and Jacobs vs GGG.
The post isn't mine, is from some days ago, but yeah, by none it means that fights aren't scheduled, you are right about the fighters you mention having scheduled fights and with Mikey not signing with Haymon, but a lot of good fighters are under the Haymon banner that hasn't fought recently and they don't have fights on the radar.

No reason why certain fighters should be taking close to a year off, it's ridiculous. Get out there and fight
