It's all good, Valdez doesn't need anyone's approval at this point. He's a world champion and has faced decent competition thus far. Plus unlike Rigo, Valdez actually has an exciting style and a built in fanbase.

Why do Rigo fans act like Bob never tried to get Rigo to put on exciting shows? He practically begged him and gave him numerous shots to look exciting in exhibition fights yet Rigo said "f you" and ignored Arum. I would dump the clown myself as well.

I like Valdez but I've never heard of this opponent. Obviously they are just going as cheap as possible. Boxing really sucks right now.

This Valdez kid was the only highlight of the Postol vs Crawford PPV.....I invited some casual boxing fans over for that ppv and even the casual ladies were impressed with valdez......the reason I know they were impressed was because they were not talking because they thought the Argentinan looked more menacing.....even though Valdez looks like a gardner type he really is all business (no hugging no running always looking to engage)..he fought some Argentinan fighter who was also undefeated with a high ko ratio......I think they fought for Lomas old title....

Man I have high hopes for Valdez, I wish Arum would do business with Haymon so Valdez could wipe out Arums 126lb division. Valdez vs Cueller would be a nice fight. The only PBC guy thatd be any issue is Gary Russel but Valdez turns very well so he could KO Russel considering he sits on his punches more than Loma. Frampton and Santa Cruz would be ea$y work for Valdez.

I agree with that,you get a chance to shine and you don't,it's a business and it's all about money...you bring nothing promoters shouldn't waste their time so just go about earning a little bit of money fighting on Friday nights,i have no problem with his style,but he needs to understand it doesn't sell and most of people aren't interested,most,so he cant have it both ways,he decides how he wants to fight,which is fine,but the promoters and fans also decide what they like,and they don't have to like it
