Comments Thread For: Promoter: Andrade Will KO Culcay, Return With More Leverage

Some people who travel overseas return with souvenirs. Demetrius Andrade's promoter believes an upcoming trip to Germany to face Jack Culcay in early November will bring his fighter back not only with a world title, but with something less tangible but nonetheless important.

This is the problem with Boxing, Andrade thinks he is a former world champion and beat an interim titleholder makes him a two time champion and more bagaining power to be on Showtime.

It seems like HBO is a step to far, as only hard fights unlike showtime he is another big P*ssyhole

Showtime is interested in airing Demetrius Andrade's fights, in a division where Showtime features a lot of fighters (with Charlo/Charlo/Lara unlikely to fight each other, being in the same camp).

The belt (the "regular" title, with no mandatory distinction to it, simply better positions Andrade for a possible shot against Lara if the WBC title fight doesn't manifest) is of secondary importance.

What fight does HBO possibly have at 154 for Demetrius Andrade, a near 6' southpaw with clear boxing craft and pop?

If you honestly think that K2 would be willing to put Golovkin in with a a 6'1 full-sized southpaw junior middleweight (likely heading to middleweight at some point), who can move and has pop in both hands, you're alone on that point.

K2 barely has the confidence to mention Erislandy Lara's name because they know how that fight will go.

If you beat everybody nobody can deny you are the champ, if you dont get the chance make the chance become Number 1 contender in every organisation. Thats what GGG did and it worked
