These multiple belts within a weightclass within a sanctioning body really needs to stop. The sanctioning body is capitalizing monetary gains at the cost of diluting the value of the descriptor "champion".

Aside from that nonsense, my respect for Gonzalez has increased even more by his willingness to go straight into a rematch with Cuadras. And I believe Cuadras deserves a direct rematch. My card was a closely contested 115-113 for Cuadras (check my previous posts for round by round score) though I did have at least two swing rounds so I gauge all three results as fair and possible.

The rematch promises to be just as thrilling. My gut at this moment tells me two results which I'm torn between, Cuadras by TKO or Gonzalez by SD. I think this fight needs to happen as soon as possible.

Had My boy " Principe " winning by two points . Worst case a Draw . The bias of the HBO commentators for the fight was disgusting ! Kellerman came around later in the fight n showed Cuadras some Respect but Ledermans cards were downright BS . The same Harold Lederman who calls Lara , Crawford's or Rigondeux's style " Beautiful Boxing " is accusing Mexican Boxing Star " Carlos Cuadras " of running ??? GTFOH

I prefer an Estrada rematch because it will be more action-packed.
Reason Cuadras lost the fight in the eyes of the judges is that he moved away (aka ran) at times when Gonzalez was putting the heat. That puzzled me actually considering Cuadras is bigger and a Mexican.

Estrada wont be moving away from Gonzalez. He will engage.

Lmao Champurradito has the fear of God up in him.

          "Pue.. Pue... Pue... "

He knows Estrada would crush him, atleast he can rob Cuadras again.. Or so he thinks, watch Cuadras seperate his body from soul for a brief second in the rematch.

Now we learned how Roman has such amazing stamina... All the ducking and running drills he does from Estrada has him in tip top shape.

          Pue...

Cuadras is gonna ko him in the second fight.
He knows Chocoputito's power is nothing against him.

I don't see why it has to be one or the other. The Cuadras rematch makes sense then a rematch with Estrada, if he decides to move up. That series can then culminate in RG facing Inoue towards the end of the next year. That's a blockbuster run right there.

Power usage effectiveness? That'd be Cuadras definitely.

At least one of the scorecards was bogus, so a rematch should settle everything. IMO Gonzalez has hit a wall talent-wise, and Cuadras is mad for the wide decision, so it's doubtful he'll want to go to the judges twice in a row. He will probably go for it all 12, and Gonzalez will be stopped, but not before an insanely sick fight for the fans.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch with either guy to be honest.

Chocolatito beat Cuadras.....early rounds was the difference

Caudras gave up too many early rounds which is why he lost. The other rounds were competitive but I think Caudras lost because he gave up the first 4 rounds. You split the other 8 and you have Chocolatito winning 8-4 in the rematch I have Gonzalez winning 7-5. Both will be better but I think there was a clear difference between the fighters in terms of whose the best.
