    According to Andrey Ryabinsky, who promotes Olympic gold medal winner Alexander Povetkin, the ongoing negotiations for the mandatory fight with Bermane Stiverne are still ongoing and both sides have until September 30th or else a purse bid will take place.

        I wish Povetkin was younger :- ( it's sad knowing he's gonna retire very soon

          In the interviews Kirpa and Povetkin did recently, they mentioned he has another 3 or 4 years or so, and they want the big titltes.

          One thing they did mention was that their focus on cardio training and staying fit the entire year gives Povetkin some more time in peak shape, and even though he is older today, he is in his best physical state.
