Wasn't ppv in the states. That's messed up if it was in the UK.

What they hoped for idk. But both guys were being paid pretty well so it cant have been bad
Expected was 300k or 500k, I don't remember exactly now, but it should be on the post fight interview from Kugan.. When asked him how much you think it did, Ed-eh said 'as good as we'd hoped' well almost on that lines..

who's "we?" I see, 51K in Texas is clearly all Mexican immigrants coming over just to see an event or Lil'Gs "sold out tickets" are all fans that are less passionate than the UK melting pot... because the USA doesn't have a diverse mixture of ethnicity at boxing events.

        want to continue theorizing?

Let's see, a guy with about 15 fights sold 400,000 PPV over there but the biggest name in boxing in Canelo can't do that in the US unless he's fighting a hall of famer in Cotto... So you tell me, do they support their fighters more than we do? Crawford did like 70,000 and he's a stud and possibly one of the top 5 fighters in all of boxing. If he was a UK guy they'd be going bananas over him

yeah their Mike Tyson and Holyfield are just blooming all the time. You think opportunists like Matchroom ala Heavyweights wouldn't market effectively? At least you're admitting that Brook vs Golovkin sold because of Brook, hence the crowd roaring for Brook.. Hatton and Hamed. What's the ratio of stars in the UK compared to the USA? Joshua is the next Lennox. I'll leave it to Canadian and British fans to debate who hyped up Lewis properly with his dual citizenship.

Either way, your theories fail in trying to discredit Canelo's PPV popularity. Or did Lara help with Alvarez 300+K buys? Which is the reason why Abel has said that "nobody knows Lara."

YOu guys make this too easy, guvnor.
