And btw I haven't posted in a Pacquiao thread of any kind in a loooooong time. Does that make me a fake fan? I still follow all his news and guess what? I still tune in to his fights as well. But I guess going by yall's logic, I'm a fake fan cause I don't post in his threads. Simply because that **** gets really repetitive and quite ****** sometimes.
so all you #48 fans are just coming back outta the woodwork huh?? i see ggg has given

Why are we giving Floyd credit for fighters ducking him? You think other fighters were never ducked? Actually considering some of the statements you guys make about GGG's resume, I'd say it was pretty biased to give Floyd credit for fighters ducking him.
Context always matters. JMM beat a version closer to his prime than Mayweather. Morales beat the best version. In order of the credit i give for wins over Manny it goes:
1.Morales
2.Jmm
3.Floyd
4.Singsurat
5.Torrecampo
6.Bradley (I thought he lost)
Yes Mayweather beat plenty of fighters at their proper peak. Though not many, if any, ATG's. Compared to other P4P top 10 fighters from history? Well. Lets just say it isnt close.
Why is this subject causing so many issues?
We agree context matters. The problem i am pointing out is how context is skewed when its Floyd.
Floyd has never beaten anyone above him on the ATG list but he hasn't been able to fight anyone above him on that list. That is reflective of the era those men fought.
Lets say Floyd fought absolutely everyone when his haters wanted him to and defeated them. he still wouldn't have a duran or hagler on his resume, which is why I completely understand your point.
No issues, just a proper debate based on your response to my post. You said it isn't close and I said closeness is a matter of perspective.Comment

Not sure why all your posts have to have some type of defensive stance in them. Their fanship is here and they post when needed. Just because the boards aren't filled with Pacquiao threads doesn't mean that they're gone. If they are alts then why worry about them so much and make a thread (op) calling them out?
Also, I can't speak for others but sometimes I avoid certain threads because you usually got the childish crowd with the same usual replies. Like Matthysse threads, I don't even try to post in them cause you'll have the same old people posting the same old ****. So that's another reason for number of posts possibly being down.
bet you hopped off that train once that boy got worked over by garcia.
just like you did with pooch, one by one all your favorite brawlers keep taking L's to superer techniqians.Comment

so if spoon is an alt/aliases of another screen name then that means he was never a pac fan, just a loser as you put it then. LOLComment

I never understood why a Paqcuioa fan can't be a Golovkin fan. What's the deal here? Both come to fight, they don't run, they chase runners... What is not understandable is why Loma, for example, is getting hate from the Floyd fans and Salido, a come forward fighter, gets sympathy from the same group when the rematch subject is brought up. Same thing in the Loma/Walters or Loma/Rigo cases. I mean what's not to like about Lomachnko?
why do you feel certain fighters have to be liked in order for someone to be a fan?Comment
