Comments Thread For: Crolla: Beating Jorge Linares Will Make Me The Main Man at 135!

ANTHONY CROLLA says victory on Saturday night will make him the world's No.1 lightweight but admits he was one loss away from quitting four years ago. The Manchester boxer defends his WBA world title against Venezuela's Jorge Linares, who has not fought for nearly a year because of a hand injury.

You're getting sparked out this Saturday just like Liam Smith! We taking the Ring ,WBO and WBC Diamond belt back to the Americas! Kell Brook, Liam Smith, and now Crolla....yep just like I predicted...and really Frampton should of been on that list but he robbed Santa Cruz...these frauds can only keep pretending to be real champions for so long.

you can only become the main man if you decide to fight away from your comfort zone and win.

I actually think Crolla is second only to Frampton in terms of the 'IN FORM' fighter from the UK right now. Beating Linares will make him Ring champion at LW! He's doing it the hard way too.. Perez, Barroso, Linares! I think he isn't appreciated skill wise enough & actually should stand alongside the Framptons & Frochs should he pull this off regardless of his earlier career losses.

I think Crolla wins. Losing to Golovkin at MW is nothing to be ashamed, Brook will make a sensational LMW & Frampton beat LSC. Embrace it!

If he can beat Linares he deserves to be called the man at lightweight. But those guys you mentioned will for sure be coming for that spot.

How arguably the best division in boxing history, became the worst in boxing today?.

Whoever wins on Saturday is just keeping the seat warm for Mikey Garcia
