The fast headmovement Mike would have been unhittable for old George with his lack of handspeed.Qawi had him hitting thin air and he was just a shadow.Maybe they saw it as a no win situation.

Tyson would have been the favourite but if Foreman landed any of his big punches, Tyson could have gone down and maybe lost. Foreman is the only guy that one can say perhaps has slightly even more power than Lennox Lewis and Tyson.Comment

Foreman definitely had more power than them imo he was just slow at 40+ but fast enough to land on mostComment

Actually there is an article that talks about it. Mike did NOT want the fight.
While we were eating, Benton said, "Bobby, what's up with Foreman and Tyson, how come they're not fighting each other on the 16th? Isn't that the fight that King was trying to make?" He said, "Georgie, You'll never believe this but, ****in' Tyson is scared **** less of Foreman and wants no part of him. I was there when Don was trying to make the fight. He was telling Tyson that Foreman represented huge money, plus he was old and slow and would be no problem. Tyson got up and screamed at King saying, 'I'm not fight in' that ****in' animal, if you love the mother****er so much, you fight him!'"

I think Tyson would have won but probably on the ropes late in the fight due to fatigue in trying to KO Foreman. I believe by the 10th round, Tyson would be so ahead with his better combination of speed/power/angles/footwork, but very tired with Foreman winning over the fans with his championship round efforts..but too little too late.
I think Frazier came in a bit recklessly vs (prime) Foreman and didn't have the speed and angles that Tyson had.
I think it was simply a case of Tyson not "needing" the fight as much as Foreman could have used it..was too big a risk for Tyson but I think it would have been one of the great HW fights of all timeComment
